Get ready for a high-spirited evening of traditional American dance at Folklore Village’s September Barn Dance! Featuring the lively Old Gray Cats with special guest Chirps Smith and the talented caller Dot Kent, this event promises a joyful mix of contras, big circles, and old-time squares perfect for dancers of all ages and experience levels. We’ll kick off the evening with a potluck at 6:00 p.m.—please bring a dish to share—followed by dancing around 7:15 p.m. No special attire or partner needed, and musicians are welcome to bring their instruments and join the informal Folklore Village Band.
