Our upcoming Puppy Preschool class starts on Tuesday, August 5th at 6:00pm. Puppies between 7-16 weeks old (at the time class starts) that would benefit from taking this class. The dogs we've seen in the past couple of years seem to be lacking in resilience and are unable to handle even the smallest amount of change or stress. They seem to struggle more with basic handling and grooming, are sensitive to new or loud noises, and are more reactive to both dogs and humans. We have also seen a huge increase in isolation anxiety as many families have been working from home and the dogs have not learned how to cope with being alone. Our goal with the Puppy Preschool class is to help new dog owners take a more active role in building resilience in their pups through positive exposure, show them how to teach their pup to tolerate basic handling/grooming, as well as teaching their puppy how to be alone. We want our clients to leave class feeling confident in their abilities to raise a confident, happy, healthy dog. Registering for class is also easier than ever!
