Kate's Bait Annual Ice Fishing Derby

It's that time of year! We are gearing up for this year's Ice Fishing Derby and couldn't be more excited to see anyone. In this derby, contestants can fish any body of water they want, within the designated fishing time AND "weighted in" by the close of the tournament. 

The registration is $15 per adult and $5 per kid age 15 and under. All entry fees are paid back in prizes for different categories. Also, all paid adult participants are entered to win a Power Ice Auger & all kids are entered to win Free Ice Cream for the summer. 

Our Large Ice Derby Raffle is a huge hit as well for those not interested in fishing. 

Fishing Time is 6AM-1PM. The weight in station is at Kate's Bait and closes at 1:30 PM Sharp! Spend the day with us enjoying the winter and hard waters! The Kate's Bait Annual Ice Fishing Derby is held the third Saturday of January every year which is also Wisconsin Free Fishing Weekend.
