Maypole Social

Description

Folklore Village invites all ages to welcome spring with a joyful evening of English maypole dancing. The celebration begins with a community potluck at 6:00 p.m., followed by maypole decorating. Guests are encouraged to bring a potluck dish to share and fresh flowers to help adorn the maypole. Once the pole is decorated, participants will learn simple, family-friendly dances that weave colorful ribbon patterns around the maypole. Musicians are also welcome to join the informal volunteer Folklore Village Band in playing music for the dances.
