Join Danish paper cut artist Torben Jarlstrøm Clausen for a joyful, hands-on online workshop exploring the magic of paper cutting. Participants will experience one of the most satisfying moments in paper cutting, the unfolding, when a happy paper-being emerges from the paper. Torben describes his paper cut universe as being filled with beings who were once weighed down inside the paper. With a little help from the scissors, they are cut free and sent out into the world smiling and light. His warm, encouraging teaching style welcomes beginners and experienced makers alike. Students will cut along with Torben during the class and create their own paper cut beings. Skill Level: Beginner level and beyond Registration Fee: $20 Materials: There is no materials fee.
