Spring Swedish Music & Dance Weekend

Folklore Village’s annual Spring Swedish Music & Dance Weekend celebrates the rich traditions of Swedish folk culture. Musicians and dancers gather for workshops in Swedish fiddle, nyckelharpa, and traditional dance, along with community meals and evening dancing. The weekend begins Friday evening with registration and a community dance. Saturday features workshops throughout the day followed by an evening dance, and the festival concludes Sunday with final workshops and lunch. Food will be prepared on site by RedBarn Catering, and limited scholarships for young and first-time participants may be available thanks to support from the American Scandinavian Foundation.
